The Crying Lady.

Type of Hauntings

Residual Haunting
"The most prevalent type of haunting, by far, is referred to as a residual haunting. In this type of haunting the ghostly energy goes through a cycle of actions over and over again. It's like a video clip that repeats itself in a loop. Oftentimes this plays out at a specific time as though it were following a schedule. Most commonly the scene played out will be that of a tragic event, such as a death. This type of haunting is more like a psychic impression of energy than an actual haunting by a presence or entity. Many true stories seem to describe this type of occurrence.

Intelligent Haunting

The second classification of haunting is known as the Classic or Intelligent Haunting. In an Intelligent Haunting the spirit, or ghost, demonstrates an intelligence and an awareness of its surroundings. These ghosts have been known to communicate with humans and to interact with their environment. In this type of haunting it is common for objects to be moved. There have been reports of ghosts making noises, such as rapping or banging on walls, slamming doors, or making footsteps. Ghosts have been known to move things around, or even to hide objects. They may even turn light switches on and off. This type of ghost will often manifest the personality of someone who has died. Smells and odors that were commonly present with the person when they were still living, such as tobacco, perfume, or flowers, often occur in these hauntings.

Now then, lets move on....

Most people know of at least one ghost story that has been told as being true within their family. Many of us even remember living near a haunted house when we were young. As children we tend to believe these ghost stories are real, but by the time we grow up we often consider ghosts to be as mythical as Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny or the Great Pumpkin.

Humans have always been both fascinated and afraid of the unknown. Even during ancient times people experienced encounters with the paranormal and shared their stories with others.

At True Ghost Tales we delve into the supernatural with visitor submitted true ghost stories, ghost pictures, haunting articles, EVPs, poltergeists, werewolves and more paranormal topics. We have a lot of resources for ghost hunters and everyone interested in the paranormal world. The blog is updated every day with new ghost stuff. We also have an archived section of ghost stories and for those of you who like to interact with others who are into the paranormal we have a forum.

However we may explain the supernatural world, nothing prevents us from being intensely interested in real true ghost stories, haunted houses, and the realm of the supernatural.

In different stories, ghosts have been described as being benevolent, benign, or malevolent. A benevolent ghost seems to want to help or protect in some way while a malevolent spirit will seek to inflict harm. Benign ghosts are usually indifferent to, or unaware of, the living.

Well....

"A few years ago my wife of seven years and our four kids (my step children) and I moved to what we all knew to be our dream home. Now I can go on and on about so many things that went on while living there. To which they were experienced by anyone and almost everyone that came into our home. But the story I’m going to tell today I feel is the scariest that happened to my wife and I.

It was a Saturday, in the middle of summer. My daughter and my niece, who were 15 at the time, asked if we could drop them off at a party. My wife and I had been arguing through out the day. Which we did a lot while we lived there. And not just us but everyone that lived there. So we went on our way about 10:00 pm. We knew the people where we were dropping them off, told them we would be back and to please watch them. As we drove back something I said sparked a new argument between us that escalated to a screaming and violent one. My wife was crying and very angry. We were two blocks from our home and my wife said she did not want for our boys to see her that way and for us to go cool off at he park, which is two blocks from our home.

Needless to say we continued to argue. At that point my wife walked away from me telling me she needed time alone. About 22 years ago her dad was murdered and she often cries out to him when she feels sad. On this night after hours of fighting, she started walking towards the little pond at the park. I could hear her crying and asking her dad to just please take her with him. She sounded so hurt, I walked towards her put my hand on her shoulder and tried to ease her pain. As she sobbed I thought I heard what seemed to be her echo to the left of us. She must have heard it too at the same time because she stopped crying and had a look of confusion on her face.

This sobbing continued much louder and much sadder than my wife’s. As we turned to look, a few feet away from us there is a bench between the volleyball court and the pond. And right in front of the bench, ironically there is a weeping willow tree. Well what we saw defied any logical explanation because by this time it was 2 something in the morning. And we saw no lights of cars or saw anyone else arrive.

But there was a woman sitting there wearing a white long skirt, long sleeve white shirt. and she had long wavy, dark thick hair. She had her face buried in her hands bent over sobbing. My wife and I started walking towards her, forgetting our own problems at that time. Still about 15 feet away I began to ask her “are you ok”, I did that about 3 times. when she didn’t answer me I asked her in Spanish “estas bien”.

What happened next, till this day gives me a cold chill down my spine. Something answered me back but I can tell you that it wasn’t a woman. In the most deepest roughest male voice it answered me “yes”. That’s all it took, my wife and I looked at each other grabbed our hands and hauled it out of there.

We still go there. During the day. It’s a very old park dating back to the 1800’s. It’s a natural spring which was bigger then. People used to swim there. But once it starts getting dark whatever or who ever we are with, pack our stuff and go. As far as the house goes we moved out. Found out very weird stuff about it and we are a lot happier."

Sex Abuse Victim Jailed for Blackmailing Attacker...

Mark Phillips persuaded the man he accused of abusing him more than 25 years earlier to hand over a total of $326,000.

Exeter Crown Court was told that Phillips wanted money, revenge and control over the 70-year-old who had started abusing him when he was 13. The blackmail victim, who was married at the time, was having an affair with Phillips’s mother when “mutual sexual activity” took place with the boy.

The judge, Recorder John Williams, said that the blackmail victim, who cannot be named because of a court order, had been generous to Phillips before he began extorting money from him, setting him up in business. The judge said: “He had to be generous to keep the past silent.”

The court heard that over a period of three years Phillips made more than 30 threatening phone calls to the man demanding money. He demanded $244,000 and told him to sell homes he owned that were worth $1.1 million and $650,000.

Phillips threatened that if he didn’t pay out he would to go to the police and publicly expose him as a pedophile to the community in Dartmoor, Devon.

The blackmail came to light when some of the victims’ friends overheard one of Phillips’s calls in which he demanded his prized possession: a vintage car worth $24,000. The victim then disclosed his “dark secret."

Polar ice caps melting faster...

THE ice caps are melting so fast that the world’s oceans are rising more than twice as fast as they were in the 1970s, scientists have found.

They have used satellites to track how the oceans are responding as billions of gallons of water reach them from melting ice sheets and glaciers.

The effect is compounded by thermal expansion, in which water expands as it warms, according to the study by Anny Cazenave of the National Centre for Space Studies in France.

These findings come at the same time as a warning from an American academic whose research suggests Labour’s policies to cut carbon emissions 80% by 2050 are doomed.

Cazenave’s data show that in the past 15 years sea levels have been rising at 3.4mm a year, much faster than the average 1.7mm recorded by tidal gauges over the past 50 years.

Cazenave said: “This rate, observed since the early 1990s, could reflect an acceleration linked to global warming.”

Met Office figures suggest sea levels in the Thames could rise 8in-35in by 2100 and possibly by as much as 6ft 6in.

Cazenave’s work, just published, will be presented at this week’s American Association for the Advancement of Science conference in Chicago.

Its release will coincide with a lecture in Britain by Professor Roger Pielke, of the University of Colorado, in which he implies that the UK’s emission target is unachievable for population and economic reasons.

CIA Interrogations.

Attorney General Eric Holder appointed a special prosecutor to examine allegations that terror suspects were abused at the hands of their CIA interrogators.
After months of consideration, Attorney General Eric Holder on Monday appointed a special prosecutor to examine allegations that terror suspects were abused at the hands of their CIA interrogators.

The highly controversial decision comes as the Department of Justice released a 2004 report from the CIA's inspector general detailing allegations of harsh interrogation practices -- which Holder cited in his decision.

"As a result of my analysis of all of this material, I have concluded that the information known to me warrants opening a preliminary review into whether federal laws were violated in connection with the interrogation of specific detainees at overseas locations," Holder said in a written statement Monday.

The newly-released document claims one interrogator said a colleague once told Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed that if any other attacks happened in the United States, "We're going to kill your children."

Another interrogator allegedly tried to convince a different terror suspect detainee that his mother would be sexually assaulted in front of him -- though the interrogator in question denied making such a threat.

Several details in the review had already been reported, such as the alleged use of mock executions and other tactics to scare detainees.

The report said interrogators threatened Abd al-Nashiri, the alleged planner of the 2000 USS Cole bombing, by holding a power drill and handgun to his head. The report said they also staged a fake execution by having CIA officers and guards scream and yell in an adjacent cell and then leading the detainee past a hooded, motionless guard -- who was lying on the floor and made to look like he had been shot.

The report concluded the CIA used "unauthorized, improvised, inhumane" practices in questioning "high-value" terror suspects.

Holder had reportedly reacted with disgust when he first read accounts in the classified version of the IG report -- a reaction that likely contributed to his decision to appoint a prosecutor.

Holder said in his statement Monday that a "preliminary review" of such cases is the "only responsible course of action" for him to take.

Justice Department prosecutor John Durham will be named for the job.

Holder's move would reverse the policy of the Bush administration and could expose CIA employees and agency contractors to criminal prosecution for the alleged mistreatment of terror suspects in the years after the Sept. 11 attacks.

It would also run counter to President Obama's stated wishes to leave the issue in the past. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs reiterated that view in a brief statement Monday.

"The president has said repeatedly that he wants to look forward, not back," Gibbs said, adding that those who acted in good faith should not be prosecuted. "Ultimately, determinations about whether someone broke the law are made independently by the attorney general."

But Holder stressed that the review is not yet a full investigation, and that even a full-scale probe does not mean charges are in order.

The attorney general noted the controversy the decision is sure to generate but said it should not be taken as a blanket criticism of the U.S. intelligence community. He said those who acted in the scope of the legal guidance provided to them will be safe from prosecution.

"I fully realize that my decision to commence this preliminary review will be controversial," Holder said. "As attorney general, my duty is to examine the facts and to follow the law. In this case, given all of the information currently available, it is clear to me that this review is the only responsible course of action for me to take."

Prior to Holder's decision, the Justice Department's ethics office had recommended that a number of alleged CIA prisoner-abuse cases that were closed under the Bush administration be reopened.

The Washington Post reported that up to a dozen cases could now be examined.

In a memo to the agency Monday morning, CIA Director Leon Panetta urged his staff to stay focused in the face of the "politicized" debate the report is expected to stir up, and defended the way the agency has handled allegations of abuse over the past several years.

"This is in many ways an old story," Panetta wrote, saying many of the techniques have already been made public. He wrote that the CIA obtained intelligence from high-value detainees "when inside information on Al Qaeda was in short supply," and that his role now is to "stand up" for officers who followed the legal guidance given to them.

Parts of the report suggest the intelligence gleaned through the enhanced interrogations was invaluable -- but it also is not clear whether that intelligence could have been extracted through more conventional interrogation methods.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney said the documents "clearly demonstrate that the individuals subjected to Enhanced Interrogation Techniques provided the bulk of intelligence we gained about Al Qaeda. This intelligence saved lives and prevented terrorist attacks."

"The activities of the CIA in carrying out the policies of the Bush Administration were directly responsible for defeating all efforts by Al Qaeda to launch further mass casualty attacks against the United States. The people involved deserve our gratitude. They do not deserve to be the targets of political investigations or prosecutions."

According to a memo by an unknown author included at the end of the report, the program was considered an "absolute success."

The memo said detainees provided information that led to the arrest of other terrorists and revealed a number of terrorist plots -- including a planned attack on the U.S. consulate in Karachi, Pakistan; a plot to derail a train; a plot to blow up several gas stations; and a plot to attack the tallest building in California.

A federal judge had ordered the IG report made public Monday, in response to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union.

Both the report and the announcement of a probe drew split reactions from lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

Democrats like Sen. Patrick Leahy, Vt., said the report showed "clear evidence" interrogators overstepped their bounds. Republicans like Rep. Pete Hoekstra, Mich., said the probe "risks disrupting CIA counterterrorism initiatives."

In another development, Obama signed off on setting up a special interrogation team that would be placed at the FBI but report directly to the White House-based National Security Council.

Though such work typically falls to the CIA, one senior U.S. official told FOX News that the CIA did not want to house the new initiative.

"They're glad to be out of the long-term detention business," the official said.

The unit's structure would depart significantly from such work under the Bush administration, when the CIA had the lead and sometimes exclusive role in questioning Al Qaeda suspects.

Hmm.

The time is VERY LATE!

I love Fable 2.

This game is really fun, you can choose to become evil or good. If you're really evil your character with grow horns, or if you're good, you'll have a halo. This game has never ending fun. Weapons can be upgraded as well as your magic. The stronger you are, the easier it is, to fight against the enemies. You can get married and have children. You can even kill your spouse to become really evil, then your children are taken away by child protection agency. You can also entertain society to become famous and they will like and give you gifts, meaning your good. I beat this game 2 times already, and its a never ending game, you still have missions you can complete or just keep exploring the world to become stronger. You can also commit bigamy. LOL. I wonder if they're going to make a Fable 3....

The Bermuda Triangle, is it really what they think it is?

The Bermuda Triangle is inexorably associated with time travel, UFOs, missing time and wormholes. Credible witnesses to the effects of the Bermuda Triangle have been witnessed by Charles Lindbergh to Christopher Columbus. When Charles Lindbergh was making a nonstop flight from Havana to St. Louis his magnetic compass started rotating. His Earth-inductor-compass needle jumped back and forth erratically. This has now all been revealed in his autobiography. Even a great pilot like Charles Lindbergh witnessed unusual events while flying in the reaches of the Bermuda Triangle.

Let me introduce you to Nancy Bradley - Celebrity Psychic. Nancy is gifted with the sight. She has been a psychic consultant for many celebrities, she has predicted various earthquakes and recently predicted the illness of Senator Ted Kennedy.

Nancy has met many celebrities and one celebrity that really stands out is Vincent Gaddis, the man that first coined the phrase Bermuda Triangle. Nancy has been very interested in all things paranormal, especially the Bermuda Triangle.

Perhaps if we want to learn the methods of time travel, we need to investigate the Bermuda Triangle more thoroughly. Why do so many witnesses claim to see a strange fog or a strange cloud before the mishaps happen? Could we find the key to time travel in the midst of the Bermuda Triangle? Survivors of the Bermuda Triangle complain about distortions in time or missing time. What did Flight 19 - The Lost Patrol see that was so odd in the Bermuda Triangle? Where did they go? Did they enter a wormhole and land in another dimension? Did they travel back into time or forward into time? So many questions, but yet so little answers.

I have survived the Bermuda Triangle while taking a flight to Puerto Rico and later to St. Thomas for my sister's wedding. The only thing unusual that happened is when my flight hit an air pocket that made the plane shake tremendously. Some passengers even screamed.

Bruce Gernon flew his plane, a Bonanza A36 into the Bermuda Triangle and encountered a non-threatening mile and a half long Lenticular shaped cloud. When he came near this cloud, he thought it was unusual because it was so low to the water. Most Lenticular shaped clouds are high in the atmosphere. The cloud seemed to come alive. It became huge, it engulfed his plane 5 times. It became the shape of an immense squall and extended 10 miles! From a harmless Lenticular cloud it became a dangerous cumulonimbus cloud with a massive thunderhead. A tunnel opened up in the cloud and he went through this tunnel. The tunnel had cloud trails swirling around his plane. While going into this tunnel, he experienced zero gravity and the only thing keeping him in the cockpit was his seatbelt. He survived this ordeal, but it's an experience he will never forget. Was this tunnel in the cloud a wormhole?

Christopher Columbus wrote in his memoirs on how his compass acted strangely while sailing through the Bermuda Triangle. He also witnessed along with another shipmate a glowing globe of light that seemed to hover over the sea. Did Columbus and his shipmate witness a UFO in the Bermuda Triangle in the year of 1492? Did the UFO help Columbus find land?

Edgar Cayce, the sleeping prophet said that Atlantis would rise in 1968 or 1969 and in that time frame we discovered the strange roads of Bimimi. Would a great civilization like Atlantis be attracted to the unique properties of the Bermuda Triangle? Could the Bermuda Triangle also serve as an energy source for a great civilization?

What is with the clouds or the fog? When strange clouds or fog enter the Bermuda Triangle, strange things start happening. Strange fog or mist has been seen with the Philadelphia Experiment in which the USS Eldridge vanished and reappeared later miles away, with some of the crew men infused into the hull of the ship. There are reports of past armies of men disappearing into a strange mist. In 1901 Anne Moberly & Eleanor Jourdain stepped into a mist and arrived at a time period before the French Revolution. The mist and those ominous clouds must be the key to time travel or entering other dimensions.

We need teams of scientists to study this phenomenon. It's a phenomenon that may be able to open many doors literally. Perhaps we can truly find our Stargate. Right now, Gold Rush Ghosts is analyzing their case documents on the Bermuda Triangle. Maybe, just maybe Vincent Gaddis left some tidbit of information that will lead to solving this mystery.
